Commercial low voltage, across 40 states

The work is there.
The technicians are there.
English is in the way.

Subcontractors across the United States have low voltage work orders nobody covers. Skilled technicians are within driving distance of most of them, and are filtered out before anyone sees their hands. VoltCrew removes the one thing standing between the two.

The barrier, exactly

A technician who can do the work cannot read the instruction

This is a real scope document, in the shape buyers actually send them. Choose a language and watch what the technician receives instead. Nothing about the work changed; only whether it can be understood before somebody drives to the site.

What the buyer sends

Report to the loading dock on the north side and collect a visitor badge from security before entering the floor. Confirm the rack elevation drawing against the printed sheet before pulling any cable, drawings were revised on the 12th. Pull 48 runs of category 6A from the MDF to rack row C, dress and label both ends per the naming scheme on the drawing. Certify every run and export the tester results before leaving the floor, we cannot invoice without them. Photograph each completed rack face with the doors closed.

One paragraph, in English, with the two things that get somebody hurt or get the work rejected sitting at the same weight as the parking instructions.

What the technician receives

Numbered, in their language, with the 2 steps that matter marked as such. The original stays open beside it, because a translation is something to check against and not something to trust blindly.

For technicians

Paid for what you can do, not for how you say it

The dispatcher speaks your language

Instructions arrive translated and numbered, with the critical steps marked. The original stays beside them so you can check.

No experience is not a closed door

A paid programme pairs a newer technician with an experienced one on the first work orders. The mentor is paid a supplement and the newcomer earns a first rating.

The arithmetic is shown, not summarised

Hours, rate, the platform commission and what reaches you, on the screen before you accept. Take the money immediately for a fee, or wait for the cycle and pay nothing.

Your radius, not somebody else's metro

Coverage is where you are willing to drive from, in miles, rather than the name of a district that does not describe your day.

What this platform will never ask you for

Nothing about immigration or work authorisation. No document, no status field, no expiry date, no note. Not at sign up, not in your profile, not visible to a dispatcher, not stored anywhere. What the platform records is your skills, the area you cover, your rating and the work you have completed, because that is what the work actually depends on. To be paid you confirm you are an independent contractor and provide a taxpayer identifier, and that identifier can be an SSN, an ITIN or an EIN.

For buyers

Coverage in the places your calls do not reach

Coverage where you have none

The supply is skilled technicians already in the area who are being filtered out of your hiring channel by a language barrier rather than by capability.

The commission is a line, not a mystery

Every invoice shows the work, the platform commission on its own line, and what the same scope costs at the market rate.

Evidence before you are asked to pay

A photo report you approve item by item, a signature from your own site contact, and a stamped log of every transition.

Requirements enforced, not requested

Insurance, badges, background checks and licences are conditions on the order. A technician who does not meet them never sees it.

How a work order runs

Five steps, each one recorded

Not a single status called "in progress". Every transition is its own moment with its own timestamp, which is what makes a dispute answerable a week later.

  1. 1 A buyer posts the work

Job type, site, time window, rate, and the site requirements as conditions rather than prose.

  2. 2 The platform ranks who fits

Skills, distance, rating, volume and response speed. The offer goes to one technician at a time and moves on if it is not answered.

  3. 3 The dispatcher stands between

Every exchange with the site contact goes through a dispatcher who speaks both languages. Nobody is asked to negotiate in a second language on a ladder.

  4. 4 Photo report, then signature, then closed

Each transition is stamped. The buyer approves the report before the signature is requested, and the signature precedes closing.

  5. 5 Paid, on a schedule or immediately

The full calculation is shown before the choice is made: hours times rate, the platform commission, and the amount received.

Coverage

The work is nearly everywhere. The coverage is not, yet.

Licensing differs by state, so the platform runs several at once from the start rather than one market with expansion promised later.

Skilled work goes uncovered on one side and unpaid on the other

That gap is a translation problem wearing a labour shortage costume. It is solvable, and this is what solving it looks like.
